Notes

This celluloid cylinder can only be read with the phonograph "Le Merveilleux", first invented by Henri Lioret in 1895. The mechanism of this phonograph is the same as the one used in the talking toy doll "BĂŠbĂŠ Jumeau" developped with Emile Jumeau for Christmas 1893. This recording corresponds to a trumpet call and its duration does not exceed 30 seconds. The catalog number (3901) has been found in the 1897 cylinder catalog. The real title is "Fanfare de Cavalerie (Duo)" and it appears in the "Trompette" series.
