This celluloid cylinder can only be read with the phonograph "Le Merveilleux" first invented by Henri Lioret in 1895. The mechanism of this phonograph is the same as the one used in the talking toy doll "Bébé Jumeau" developped with Emile Jumeau for Christmas 1893.
