Notes
This celluloid cylinder can only be played with the phonograph "Le Merveilleux", first invented by Henri Lioret in 1895. The mechanism of this phonograph is the same as the one used in the talking toy doll "Bébé Jumeau" developed with Emile Jumeau for Christmas 1893.
This recording corresponds to the first verse of the song written by Aristide Bruant. Its duration does not exceed 30 seconds.
The catalog number (1005) has been found in the 1897 cylinder catalog.
